" You've never seen everything..."

11.24.2002

Good morning, Constant Reader. ( to be known as C.R.).....
I will soon be sipping herbal tea and reading the first book on my to be read short list. I am reforming on my cluttered up habits, and deciding to finish all my books before I buy another is a very good thing. One book at a time is clearer for the brain, and a 3 book short list to be finished helps reduce clutter in my cramped quarters.
I have been reading this book for about a week or so :
What Fresh Hell is This? by Marion Meade. It's a biography of Dorothy Parker.
American Gods by Neil Gaiman . Next on my list , I enjoyed starting it about a month or so ago, and will enjoy finishing it.
Guns, Germs, and Steel by Jared Diamond Started this and was interrupted twice. It covers some of the things I have been interested about for a long time, history and anthrolopogy. etc.
After that, I will chose some lighter books for the rest of the holiday season. I expect to finish the above just before Christmas.
So many books as they say, so little time.
I have ben enjoying this whole trying to get my home to look more presentable. I am going so slowly, and I am not following anyone's rules completely but the link under "hat about links " ( official name of my linkage section in the body of the post now ) is :
flylady
I am recommending this site highly. I don't think the site makes you feel like you have to get up and do it all their way all at once, even if ever ! If you want to get some motivation to de-clutter and clean up and maybe learn something , I suggest this link.
Also, since I am listed with them now, may I suggest : eatonwebportal .... if you like blogs, this might be a good way to explore.

Here's to a good light to read by, good stories both to read and live and may life be kind to you in the holiday season.
