Weekly update here !
My RSI still is giving me trouble, but I just don't want to listen to it right now.
Everybody : stretch !!
I have a hiatus from being employed, and am going to see a loooot of movies. Am also seeing Bruce Cockburn in concert, going to Dragon*con , =might be attending the screenwriter's expo= and then it's off pounding the pavements.
Movies seen in theatrs, lately :
28 days later : 3 cups of scalding hot strong as diamonds hard as hell coffee. This isn't for the faint at heart. It has it's draggy moments, and some less than professional level moviemaking , however the gist of it is : apoclypse ain't pretty. It's a mean little piece of good work.
LXG : 3 cups of mild coffee, very well made and served in a very cool cup. If there was any dissent or nastiness on set, it doesn't show. Lovely ship, the Nautilus. Everyone has good chemistry on screen. Peta Wilson is wonderful. Long may she make her presence known in various vehicles of entertainment.
Pirates of the Caribbean: 4 cups of slightly spicey coffee. The kind you would have after a good dinner. More films like this. Please. Johnny Depp. More. Orlando = get a film with Peta , how lovely it would be.
DVD's:
Stargate : 4 cups of genuine java , good solid mugs of joe to the cast and crew of the Stargate. May they all, after this most likely last season, have a great life and success. I love those guys. This is the coffee you like to have around the house, to keep on drinking.
Tears of the Sun : 3 1/2 cups of cowboy coffee, brewed to perfection. The DVD has some interesting material about Africa. I recommend this. The material is educational and well presented.Kinda like White Oleander===suprisingly satisfying.
Sunshine State : 4 cups of organic coffee, shade grown, in a really cool mug you have had for years from that really cool vacation. This is the reason Goddess makes folks like John Sayles, Edie Falco & co.
La Femme Nikita : 5 cups espresso, big dollop of steam milk and another dollop of foam, in a nice Russian blue&white ware espresso cup. Ahhhh. This is an intricate and well acted tricksy sort of item. Tangled webs we weave blah blah woof woof .
Featured Favorites for the week :
Peta Wilson , Bruce Willis, thoughtfully produced DVD's that break the mold, warmth , citrine crystals, walking to Aroma's ( Railroad Square, Santa Rosa = cafe ) , Laurel K Hamilton.

Books read and finished :
Terminator : the sequel to Infiltrator, by SM Stirling
Sarek : by AC Crispin
Guilty Pleasures by Laurell K. Hamilton

May we all have a wish come true this week.
