Ahha smooth moving
It's a good day. Woke up before noon.
Donated to Wil and Anne Wheaton's Team in Training for Leukemia marathon. Go over to WWDN, which is the first foremost blog I visit , and see what he has to say. He mentions it a coupla of times over the past few days. His blog is very much worth visiting. Soapbox, his web community is very much worth lurking over for a few days, and joining, and then posting . Intelligent, silly, thought provoking, stimulating conversation is to be found there.
I am listening to Bob Dylan, Time Out of Mind. One of my favorite CD's. This is a Bob Dylanesque day...raining rainingraining...but a good fresh feel, and the wind is actually just slightly warm ( maybe 2 degrees warmer than the temp outside...)
I am also currently listening to Joni Mitchell 's Hejira a lot. Something about this album is touching my soul and musical spirit.
Recommended book :
The Fifth Sacred Thing by Starhawk
I have read and reread this about a dozen times. This is a true science fiction, on the road, post-apocylptic novel. She doesn't pull any punches, and she has some beautiful, some harsh elements in this book.
Reading now : Uncommon Grounds, History of Coffee and How It Transformed Our World by Mark Pendergrast.
This coffee history is very very cool. It's a very good example of how history can be seen as influenced by one product...coffee , in this case.
