Fanfic Recommendation

Here and there, I'll come across a fanfic that really keeps my attention. I have had quite a few favorites through the years...long ago and far away, I read a novella length AU where the Mirror,Mirror universe of Star Trek, Original Series was the acutal reality and that Gene Rodenberry was an escaped poltical prisoner or something like that...who went back in time and made up Star Trek, OS from his " real" life. Do not ask me for the title, and I have no idea if it's in the messy collection in my closet. If I do find it, I'll try to remember to follow up here. If you remember it, or the title , etc. leave me a comment.
I also remember a crossover between the Man from U.N.Cl.L.EandStar Trek,O.S. that was quite good and entertaining.
I like crossovers. Ideally, around 2000-2001 ish, there would have been a yummy crossover between Buffy, X Files and SG1...around 9 weeks would be good, 3 weeks in each show.
My first fanfic recommendation, other than the ones I've mentioned earlier...is in Twisting the Hellmouth...It's titled...Misunderstandings and like a noob...I've not noted the author. The writer got me to read through action sequences, which considering I sometimes blank out those...that was pretty good writing in my book. It's my favorite crossover genre, Buffy & SG1 it's a general fic with very little if any " pairing" involved. I like how it balances between both shows, and catches most of the differing spirits of each show, and most of all, it doesn't make the Scoobies know-it-all, seen-it-alls like some of the crossovers do! Few of those keep my attention. SG1 and SGC in general are manned by experienced, intelligent, well trained individuals, and sometimes the crossovers at Twisting the Hellmouth make them out as little better than the Initiative, and kind of ...lame. Not all, mind you, so if you do like the idea of a crossover with the folks from the Scoobies and SG1, try this site out!! I hope you enjoy Misunderstandings !!
