is the successor to the Soapbox of Wil Wheaton Dot Net fame . Wil has discontinued the old Soapbox board, and there is a new board, thanks to a monkey name Roughy, some adminstrators and wonderous moderators as well.
It's in temperment, flavor and " boxlike" feel, very similar to the old Soapbox. There was a migration of about 85% of the more regular monkeys, and there was also some erstwhile once long ago monkeys that came on over as well...some names I recognise from 1, 2 years ago.
I recommend you come on down if you like boards with a general emphasis, from Food to Sports, from Current Events to Parenting. Join up, introduce yourself, and wander around.
