A new Year, a new focus on this blog

I am going to try and come here at least 5 days a week. My focus will be links to items of interest, whether research into anthropology ( I am taking 2 classes this coming semester, starting January 10 ) or current political or social topics that spark an interest inside me...that I think are important.
I urge everyone to go to CNN list of aid sites for SE Asia tsunami and earthquake victims... and if you can, for however much you can, donate to help the victims of this devastating and horrifying event. The needs are so many, in so many areas- from infrastructure, to medicine to food etc. that anything you give to any of these aids organisations would help.
