Manchurian Candidate better than I thought it would be. I liked it, I got confused, I forgot the original in parts, and I think at times Liev Schrieber was channeling Lawrence Harvey. There's a close up of Denzel Washington that is done in studio, probably a pick up shot, that is all very matte-y, and very Hitchcockian. I feel good about movies. I've seen three good ones in a row.
